Tania Farrelly will launch her second novel, WAR OF HEARTS at bookgrove on Love Your Bookshop Day.
Tania, who resides in Ocean Grove has selected bookgrove as her launch spot for her latest novel and will be in conversation with Geelong author, Belinda Lyons Lee.
Tania's first novel, The Eighth Wonder was a celebrated success in 2021.
A 2019 French holiday inspired "WAR OF HEARTS", a World War I tale of secrets and forbidden love. Tania stumbled on the story of a spy network, "La Dame Blanche", and spent two years poring over information about the civilian intelligentsia. At a war museum exhibit of abandoned trinkets found in the mud of the Somme, Tania thought , "if each item was likely very precious to someone and had its own story of love and loss to tell, what if one of these long-lost trinkets held the clue to solving a mystery?”
Eventually, Tania's research formed the storyline for War of Hearts.
